Something I worked on throughout the week during my free hour period.

I wanted to write this because I needed to fill the void on what happened between Wendy's breakup with Robbie and her being cool with Dipper again. That and I REALLY fucking love Dan. We never see much interaction between Wendy and the rest of her family (which I hope we will this season), so I thought I'd share my take on 'em and what happened in between those periods. 

As a supporting character Dan hasn't developed much, so writing for him was kinda tough, but I'd think he'd act differently with his daughter than he normally would with her brothers or anybody else. Especially in a situation like this one. Considering the realistic direction Alex takes with his characters I'd think Dan would be quite the supporting father at home.

HHHHH what Alex said murdered my soul I hope we get to learn more about what happened to her mom. I love the Corduroys so much. ; ;

It was a fun write. While I still need practice, I'd love to do more one-shots like these in the future. I totally dig the down to earth stuff we never get in most cartoons, so writing for it is definitely the thing for me. That's why I love Gravity Falls so much ooooh my God.

In regards to the picture, the idea for the scene came first actually. XD Remember that quote, "I'm gonna go stare at a wall for an hour and rethink EVERYTHING," yeah I wanted to draw that but then the story happened and I changed it lol.

I'm really happy with the background and lighting textures in this one. 8]
